On Tuesday, Class 13 took part in an online safety workshop. The activities reinforced how to stay safe online.

Class 13 worked together in teams to answer reading comprehension questions. The competition was close as to who would answer them all correctly first. Well done to the winning team!

Lake group showed great problem solving skills and team work to escape from the piranha pool.

Braving the cold and the frost, the children had lots of fun on the zip wire. Can you spot Miss Wolf?

After arriving safely at Robin Wood, Lake group completed the challenges of caving and the dungeon. They supported each other and showed great co-operation.

The Newsroom
Class 13’s classroom turned into a newsroom today as they produced their final drafts of their news reports. They have been reading Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens and their work reports on when Oliver escapes from the undertakers. They have produced some excellent pieces of writing!

Getting to grips with spreadsheets!
In computing Class 13 are learning how to create spreadsheets. This is the first time they have used spreadsheets, so the first lesson was spent learning how to input information and create a simple formula. Bradley soon became an expert!

Yeast Investigation
This morning, Class 13 set up an investigation to find out which food yeast likes the most. They put yeast with: coffee, sugar, salt, rice, oil and flour. Most of the children think yeast will like the flour because you use flour to make bread. We will let you know Read more…
