Class 14 had a lot of fun playing a multiplication game to consolidate their times tables.
This morning the Friends of Harwood Park held their first coffee morning. We had a chat and welcomed new parents whilst having a coffee and cake. If you are interested in becoming involved in the PTFA watch out for a text about the next meeting which will be coming soon.
Class 13 have spent the afternoon decorating the cakes they baked this week. They have produced amazing cakes and they are looking forward to entering them in the competition tomorrow! We would like to say a big thank you to Miss Williams for her help with the baking!
Class 13 investigated how to change the brightness of bulbs. They had lots of fun investigating.
As part of our DT unit of work we evaluated different types of cake this morning. We considered appearance, texture and most importantly taste! We had gluten and nut free cakes for people with allergies.
Class 13 have been making circuits to light a bulb. They had to investigate the difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit.
Class 13 are participating in the Great Harwood Bake Off! Today they looked at different types of cakes in books and on the internet. They decided on their top three and copied the designs. They identified ingredients they may need.
