Class 13 participated in the Hour of code this week. They put their coding skills into practice to complete the online activities. Thank you to the digital leaders, Summer and Tryphon, who supported us.

This week Class 13 have been learning how to translate shapes. They have moved the shapes left or right, then up or down. They have then recorded the new co-ordinates.

This afternoon Class 13 worked hard putting the finishing touches to their pom poms. They made them into snowmen, animals and monsters! They are available to buy at the Christmas Market on Friday night. See you there!

Class 13 have been learning about equivalent fractions. They used till rolls to make fractions, then looked for fractions which are equivalent.
Staff from St. Anne’s Academy visited Year 6 this morning. They told them about the school day, subjects, lunchtime and after school clubs. Their open evening is this Thursday (20th September) from 5.30 to 8pm.
On Friday afternoon Class 13 had a training session with coaches from Rochdale Hornets. They practiced passing the ball and worked together as teams.
This afternoon Class 13 started work on basic coding. They learnt how to make their character move. Our coding experts: Bradley, Luke and Mckenzie were on hand to help if we needed it.
Class 13 returned to school this morning looking smart and ready to work. Here they are writing book reviews to be displayed in our reading area. Keep up the good work!
