This week, Year 1 came to explore the Year 5 rainforest! Class 11 used their sketching skills to draw their chosen rainforest animal and then used oil pastels to create vibrant colours. They then used these sketches to create abstract artwork with felt tips. Year 1 join the animal abstract work and also coloured in some rainforest animals. Year 5 enjoyed teaching Year 1 about their knowledge of the Amazon and there was fantastic discussions and cooperation shown by all children.
