Happy Wednesday !Here is a reminder of your home learning tasks for today:

Reading/Phonics: Tune into your daily Read Write Inc lesson.
All lessons will be available at 9.30 am.
Set 1, 2 and 3 Speed Sounds lessons will restart.
Set 2 and 3 Speed Sounds lessons will include new words for reading and spelling.
Complete the first 2 worksheets. Introduce the new sound ‘aw’ to your child and complete the tasks.
Today will be about introducing children to the basics of telling the time using an analogue clock.
Starter: Have a discussion with your child to find out what they know about telling the time and clocks. If you have an analogue clock or watch this will be good to show your child. Children will need the purpose of the clock hands reinforced (small hand is the hour hand; big hand is the minute hand) This video will help explain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Posbu-VKxU
Task: Tell the time: Writing the time worksheet. This worksheet is about time to the hour. Keep reinforcing the purpose of the different hands if children struggle with the concept.
Afternoon activity
As this month we would have had sports day at school take the afternoon to get active.
Set up an obstacle course outside. See if you can also work on your throwing and catching skills.
