Today in Class 12, we have been looking at how we can assess the reliability of sources of information online; and how to make safe, reliable choices from search results. As a class we talked about how not all information online is true and how text and images in the media and on social media can be manipulated or invented. Children were then able to apply this to a selection of scenarios and say what choice they could make to keep them safe, protect their wellbeing and stop the spread of fake news and misinformation.
