Morning lessons:
Reading book- start your day by reading your school reading book or a book from home for at least 15 minutes.

English – Write a thank you letter to someone who you would like to thank. Could it be to your parents who are helping you learn at home? Or to your brother or sister for playing fun games with you every day? Do you know anyone who is working to help other people, such as a nurse or carer? Use your ‘writing a letter’ worksheet from a few weeks ago to help you structure your letter. Don’t forget capital letters and full stops!
Afternoon:
10 minutes of mindfulness – use the mindfulness sheet and pick one or two ideas to help you relax for an afternoon of fun learning.
Maths fluency – maths subtraction sheet.
Phonics – phonics play games (10 minutes)

In keeping with our seaside theme in history, we’d like you to learn some fun songs all about the seaside. Your first song to learn is: ‘The big ship sails on the ally ally oh.’ Do you notice how the tempo (the speed of the song) changes throughout? Can you spot when it is fast and when is it slow?
