Reading/Phonics: Tune into your daily Read Write Inc lesson.

Maths task- Describing positions 2– pages 66-68.

English task– For the rest of the week, your child will be writing their own story about any topic they choose. You might want to start off by reading one or two of their favourite stories together and discuss the main characters/ where the story is set. Decide together who will be the main characters in their own story? Use the story mapper sheet to help. Your child may find it easier to use similar characters to the stories they have just read.

Maths fluency- maths subtraction sheet.

Phonics– Phonics play games.

Music Lesson 3: Carrying on with our seaside songs, this week our song is ‘A sailor went to sea, sea sea.’ How does this song compare to last week? What lyrics (words in the song) do you notice that are repeated? Can you find the pulse of the music through clapping?
