In RE, the children sorted newspapers stories into those which depict a good world and those which depict a bad world. We discussed if the world was more good or bad,  whether newspapers were the best of way discerning this and what this means for our understanding of the nature and existence of God. In groups, the children then used a ‘bad world’ story to create their own news report for “God Watch News”.  The children also explored the different ways people may interpret the same event.
