This week, Class 9 had their first ‘in-person’ Language and Communication lesson. The discussion was related to our focus text in English and our focus question was:
We discussed this question with our partners and then shared our opinions with the class. We thought carefully about the vocabulary we used and came up with some great words including:
- capture
- rampage
- tolerant
- influence
- consequences
- attitude
- unaware
The decision about whether or not Hogarth was right divide the class almost 50/50 but the children were very sensible during the discussions, disagreeing in a respectful, mature way and were able to justify their opinions well.
