Last week, Class 11 discussed the use of plastic straws in our language and communication lesson. Ruby and Alex were then inspired to create posters at home using the ideas we discussed. Ruby’s ,um sent her poster to Blue Peter and Ruby was awarded with a green Blue Peter badge!
Also, Alex has been entered into the Children’s champion award to share her views on what she would like to change in the Rochdale Borough. Alex has been selected for the interview stage which she should be very proud of and we wish her lots of luck going forward!

I am so happy and proud of myself. Me and Alex worked hard and when you do something that is nice or kind then something great will come out of it. Well done Alex I am so happy for you.
