A group of children from Year 6 went to Heywood Memorial Gardens this morning to lay a poppy wreath for Harwood Park. Phoenix in Class 14 wrote a beautiful message that is displayed on the wreath. The children also enjoyed looking at the benches and reading the information on the memorial to learn more about the soldiers during the war. Year 6 also completed WW1 projects over half-term including powerpoints, artwork and 3D designs.

If you would like to see the poppy wreath from Harwood Park it is displayed in Heywood Memorial Garden.
