Platinum Jubilee

Class 14 had a full day of activities to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The decade that we looked at was the 1950’s when the Queen was coronated. We watched the BBC coverage of her coronation and created her crown. We also drew her portrait and wrote interesting facts from this decade. Did you know the Queen was in Kenya when she found out her father had died and she was going to be Queen? Well done to all children who made fantastic cakes for the Bake off too!
