Year 6 have researched the famous artist Claude Monet and his use of texture and colour for landscapes. This week, children explored painting as an impressionist by painting a section of one of his famous paintings the Poppy Field. We will continue to explore this skill further over the next few weeks.
Today we finished our clay turtle sculptures. We mixed paints to make the colours we wanted and used different brushes to create finer details on our work. We are very proud of our wonderful artwork! Read more…
