On Monday, Class 8 went on a walk around Heywood as part of their Investigating the Local Area topic in Geography. Beforehand, we drew maps of our route and plotted symbols of where we wanted to visit. Here are some pictures of the places we chose to visit – these were all taken by members of Class 8:
As you can see, we definitely have some budding photographers in our class. It was a really long walk but we had a lovely time walking around our home town.
Next week we plan on looking at our photos and deciding which are human features and which are physical features.
