Micro-organism Experiment

In Class 14, we have been learning about organisms (such as animals and plants) and micro-organisms. We used the micro-organism yeast to conduct an experiment to see which food yeast likes best. We used water and yeast to add to different foods including: flour, coffee, sugar, salt, oil and rice. We made predictions and left the experiment all morning to see what would happen. In the afternoon, we observed the changes by seeing which bag had filled with carbon dioxide the most resulting in yeast liking that food the best.
