Making Boats: Sails and Keels

In Design and Technology this week, Class 9 investigated the use of sails and keels.

After making an origami boat, they were challenged to build a functional sail and then test their design in the water tray with wind power provided by a hairdryer.

Some were successful. Others were not so successful…
