This week, as part of out RHE SCARF work, we had a workshop with Rachel from Coram Education. The workshop was called, “It’s Great to Be Me” and focussed on how we can keep our amazing bodies healthy and why we should celebrate out differences and our uniqueness.

Children were impressed by the app that showed them the respiratory and circulatory systems. We used these to discuss being healthy and used the well-being wheels to focus our thoughts. Children also had the opportunity to discuss medicines and drugs such as caffeine and nicotine and how these affect our bodies.

The workshop finished with a surprise visit from Harold, the SCARF mascot!
