Class 14 started the topic ‘Seeing Light’ this week and began by recapping their prior knowledge of how shadows are formed. We discussed various light sources (both natural and artificial) and how objects block these lights to form shadows. We also discussed opaque, translucent and transparent objects and how light travels. We were impressed to find out about a glass frog with translucent skin!
We then created our own animal shadow puppets by blocking the light source with our hands. Can you spot any animals below?
