Year 6 have been learning about micro-organisms this week including bacteria, yeast and mould. We have discussed how food can be made using micro-organisms such as cheese and bread. Children took part in an experiment involving the micro-organisms yeast. They predicted how yeast would react with rice, coffee, sugar, salt, flour and oil. Have a look at our experiment below…
