Equilateral, Isosceles or Scalene?

This week we have been learnings about the different types of triangle.

Equilateral triangles have 3 equal sides and 3 equal angles.

Isosceles triangles have 2 equal sides and 2 equal angles.

Scalene triangles have no equal sides and no equal angles.

There is also a fourth type of triangle, known as a right angled triangle. These triangles have one 90 degree angle and can be either isosceles or scalene.

When we had learnt about their properties and identified them, we had a go at making them using elastic bands and geo boards.
