Eggs-periment!

Today we carried out the first experiment of our working scientifically topic. Our question is, “How do different liquids affect our teeth?” 

In order to answer our question, we planned an experiment using eggs to represent our teeth because teeth are made of calcium carbonate which is what eggshells are made of too! We submerged the eggs in five different liquids:

• water
• full-fat coke
• milk
• vinegar
• coffee

We then covered them and are leaving them over the weekend to see what happens.
