Year 6 have been reading the text ‘Private Peaceful’ in English. We have put ourselves in the position of the main character Tommo and have written a diary entry as a soldier in WW1. We have used many features to make our diaries exciting and detailed including colloquial language, time conjunctions and expanded noun phrases. We can’t wait to see how the story ends…
