Good morning everyone!  I hope you are enjoying the tasks set for you.

Don’t forget, David Walliams is going to be reading some of his short stories online at 11am every day. To listen, follow this link. I imagine there will be a high demand for this, so if the website doesn’t work please be patient or try again tomorrow. I’m sure David Walliams’ technical people will be working to make sure more people can access it.

Here are your tasks for today:

  • Daily Reading (at least ten minutes – please record in  your reading record)
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 10, Lesson 3 Tenths (3) (Pg 126-128) Here’s the Discover guidance to help you (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
  • English: Reading Comprehension – Poems (Foreign Lands & It Couldn’t Be Done)
  • Spelling: Year 3/4 words (21-30)
  • Fluency: Multiplication practise
  • Geography: Start to write up your notes about your country. Make sure you organise your writing using headings and subheadings and write in full sentences.
  • Something fun: Draw/paint a picture of something Spring related (flowers, Easter etc. If you need inspiration, check out this link.)

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost). If you have any questions about the work or want to send me examples of what you’ve been doing, please email me at class9@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk

I have read my story for 30mins this morning then completed my maths lesson 3 , I’m finding working with decimals challenging then I learnt my times table which I know all of them without looking at the sheets, I will be doing some English this afternoon then I’m going to do P.E with Joe on YouTube. Thanks x

That great Amelia! Decimals can be challenging, so don’t worry if it’s taking a bit of time to get your head around. If you’re struggling with a question you can always ask for help on here or by email. Keep up the hard work.

Also – dojo for you for commenting and letting me know what you’re up to. 🙂
