Good Morning Class 9! I hope your week is going well so far and you are staying safe and healthy.
Here are your tasks for today:
- Daily Reading (at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record)
- Maths: Power Maths Unit 9, Lesson 7 -Problem Solving – Fractions of a Quantity (Book B – Pg 112-114). Here’s the Discover and Think Together guidance to help you:
- English: Grammar Task – Direct Speech & Fronted Adverbials
- Spellings: Rainbow writing – Write the words in different colours.
- Fluency: Make a poster for one of the multiplication tables you struggle with. Hang it up somewhere where you’ll see it a lot!
- Science: Lesson 3 – Three States of Water
- Something fun:
- Create a milk bottle elephant. Ask an adult to cut the top of a milk bottle for you and spaces for the legs. Add any materials or coloured paper you have. Here is an example:
- Today is earth day – an annual event celebrated around the world to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Why not complete this activity and make promises about how you are going to help the planet.
