Good Morning Class 9! Hope you’re all okay.

Thanks to everyone who has sent in the things they’ve been doing at home. Charlie sent this scratch that he had made: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/394090244 and Kaiden scanned in his Computing comic strip from last week:

Here is the work for today:

  • Daily Exercise: Put on your favourite playlist and dance like no-ones watching!
  • Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 12, Lesson 7  – Problem solving – Multiplication & Division  (Book C pg 47-49). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help.
  • English: Grammar – Verb agreement
  • Spelling: Rainbow Writing – write the word in one colour, then go over it in another. Repeat until you run out of colours!
  • Fluency: Oxford Owl Times Tables Match – Match the two calculations that have the same product (answer)
  • RHE – My Family: Every family is different,  but every family is special. There are lots of things that make families fantastic! Think of four different things that your family like to do together, things that family members do for one another, or things that are unique to your family. Draw a picture in each box and write a caption to go with it.
  • Something fun:
    • Dream House. What would your dream house look like? Have a go at building one using cardboard or other recycling your family may have.
    • DIY Lava Lamps:

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class9@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.

      Miss French 😀
