Good morning everyone!  I hope you enjoyed your home learning yesterday. In an exciting new development, David Walliams is going to be reading some of his short stories online at 11am every day. To listen, follow this link. I imagine there will be a high demand for this, so if the website doesn’t work please be patient or try again tomorrow. I’m sure David Walliams’ technical people will be working to make sure more people can access it.

Here are your tasks for today.

  • Daily Reading (at least ten minutes – please record in  your reading record)
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 10, Lesson 2 Tenths (2) (Pg 123-125) Here’s the Discover guidance to help you (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
  • English: Reading Comprehension – A Little Princess
  • Spelling: Year 3/4 words (11-20)
  • Fluency: Multiplication practise
  • Geography: Search the internet for (or draw yourself) pictures of your chosen country to add to your project. You could look for the flag, maps, photos of different landmarks/cities, famous people. Save them to your laptop if you are making a digital presentation or print them out to stick on your final project.
  • Something fun: Build a den in your bedroom/living room using a clothes airer and old sheets & blankets. Once it’s finished, curl up inside with some snacks and your favourite book

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you missed yesterday’s work, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up! If you have any questions about the work, please email me at class9@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk
