Class 9 Home Learning (Friday 24th April)

Hello everyone!

Another week of home learning almost complete. Well done! I hope you are all doing okay. A massive thank you to those who have kept in touch. I am missing you all and getting a comment from you or a message from your parents telling me how you’re doing really makes me smile. 🙂

Here are your tasks for today:

• Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record
• Maths: Power Maths Unit 11, Lesson 1: Decimals – Making a Whole (Book C – Pg 6-8). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
• English: Reading Comprehension – Fossils
• Fluency: Put the words into sentences and then check you’ve spelt them correctly.
• Science: Lesson 5 – The Water Cycle (2)
• Something fun:
  • Design and make a board game and play it with your family.
  • Draw a map of your local area and highlight important places (home, school etc).

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).
