Happy Friday!

Wow – how is it May already?! I can’t believe I’ve not seen you guys for over a month! Thanks to those who have been in touch and let me know you’re okay – it means I don’t have to worry about you as much. 🙂

Here is a reminder of your tasks for today:

  • Daily Exercise: Joe Wicks at 9am or Go Noodle.
  • Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 11, Lesson 6 – Halves & Quarters (Book C pg 21-23). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
  • English: Reading Comprehension – The Star
  • Spelling: Put the words into sentences
  • RE: Hinduism Project. Finish your final project and email it or a photograph of it to me.
  • Something fun: For the final day of Children’s Book week, we’re suggesting you make you own bookmark so you never lose your page again! There are loads of fantastic, creative ideas on this website or you could make a cute, animal corner one as shown in this video:

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class9@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.
