Good Morning Class 10! I hope your week is going well so far and you are staying safe and healthy.
Here are your tasks for today:
- Daily Reading (at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record)
- Maths: Power Maths Unit 10, Lesson 9 Dividing by 100 (1) (Pg 144-146) Here’s the Discover guidance to help you (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
- English: Grammar Task – Direct Speech & Fronted Adverbials
- Spellings: Rainbow writing – Write the words in different colours.
- Fluency: 9 timetables! Focus on your 9s today. Use the hand trick (and remember to look for the pattern) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBTGKiVgWcA
- Science: Lesson 3 – Three States of Water.
- Something fun:

- Create a milk bottle elephant. Ask an adult to cut the top of a milk bottle for you and spaces for the legs. Add any materials or coloured paper you have. Here is an example that some children made in school last week.
- Today is earth day – an annual event celebrated around the world to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Why not complete this activity and make promises about how you are going to help the planet.
