Good Morning Class 10,

Here is a reminder of your tasks for today:

  • Daily Exercise: Joe Wicks at 9 am or Go Noodle.
  • Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 11, Lesson 3 – Comparing Decimals (Book C pg 12-14). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
  • English: Creative Writing – Task 3
  • Fluency: Arithmetic Test 3
  • RE: Hinduism Project. Research the next three questions on your sheet:
    • What holy books do Hindus have?
    • Where and how do Hindus worship and what would we find in these buildings?
    • What are the main Hindu festivals and how are they celebrated?
  • Something fun:
    • Retell one of your favourite stories – this is a fun drama activity where everyone at home can get involved. Bring your book to life by getting into character, gathering props and whatever else you need to retell your story. If you are able to, you could record your drama and edit it to make it look like a film. Again, feel free to send us your finish product using the email addresses below.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.

Miss Reed 😀
