Good morning Class 10!

I hope you’re all getting on with your home learning okay. If you have any questions/concerns make sure you get in touch. I’m still here to help, even though we’re not in school.

Here is a reminder of your tasks for today:

  • Daily Exercise: Spell your name PE!

  • Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 11, Lesson 5 – Rounding Decimals (Book C pg 18-20). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
  • English: Creative Writing Task 4
  • Fluency: Arithmetic Test 4
  • RE: Hinduism Project. Begin to put your final project together (You’ll have time to finish it tomorrow). Take your time and present it neatly. Add pictures and colours to make it more fun and engaging.
  • Something fun:
    • Redesign the cover of your favourite book. You can do this by drawing, colouring or painting it. You could create a scene from playdough or Lego and take a photo of it in front of a piece of paper with the book title on. Or you could use fabric and props like these examples:

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.

Miss Reed 🙂
