Good Morning Class 10 and Happy Thursday!

Fun fact: Did you know?

I hope you’re enjoying your home learning activities so far this week.  Here is a reminder of your home learning tasks for today:

  • Daily Exercise: Create your own work out routine – it must last at least 10  minutes.
  • Daily Reading: at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record. I have just finished reading ‘After the Fire’ written by Will Hill. Please comment below with suggestions for which book I should read next and why?
  • Maths: Power Maths Unit 12, Lesson 8  – Solving two-step problems (Book C pg 50-52). Here’s the Discover & Think Together guidance to help.
  • English: Creative Writing Task 8 – Trapped
  • Spelling: Write the spellings out and then put them in alphabetical order.
  • Fluency: Twinkl Test 1b
  • RHE – Interview a family member – Choose an adult in your family and interview them using the questions provided – there is also space for you to think of your own questions too. You can choose to inter someone who lives with you in your house or someone who lives away from you – but please maintain social distancing and interview them via phone/video call.
  • Computing: Practise your coding with scratch. What can you create? Follow this link, https://scratch.mit.edu/
  • Something fun:
    • Make some posters to put up in your window to cheer up your neighbours.
    • Quiz! Can you name these Sweets/Chocolate Bars from the clues?

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up (particularly with the Maths or you may be lost).

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.

      Miss Reed 😀
