Good morning Class 10! And happy summer term! I hope you are all staying safe and enjoyed some of the Easter activities. You may have been lucky enough to have an Easter Egg or two during the holidays!
Here are your tasks for today:
- Daily Reading (at least 15 minutes – please record in your reading record)
- Maths: Power Maths Unit 10, Lesson 7 Hundredths (2) (Pg 138-140). Here’s the Discover guidance to help you (and if you’re struggling, check out this video)
- English: Reading Comprehension – Care of a Dog
- Spelling: Use the internet/ dictionary to find the definitions of the words on the week 1 list.
- Fluency: Multiplication practice – Purple Mash – Multiplication Monsters – I have set this as a 2do for you on Purple Mash I look forward to seeing your scores!
- Science: New topic – States of Matter. Lesson 1 – Solids, Liquids & Gasses (Properties & Particles)
- Something fun:
- #DrawWithRob – Children’s author Rob Biddulph has been giving free short drawing lessons on his YouTube channel – check them out and have a go. I’ve done number 4 – Kevin and number 7 – Penguin Blue.
- #Heywood Rocks – On your daily exercise, look for & collect stones and rocks you could paint. Decorate them with bright, colourful pictures and positive messages – place them around your neighbourhood for others to find! (Remember to maintain social distancing rules while doing this.)
