Good morning Class 10 and happy Wednesday. At lunchtime, we’ll be halfway through the week.

Wellbeing Wednesday – Wellness is wealth - Epica Health, Safety ...

Lockdown hasn’t been easy and it’s taken its toll on the mental health and wellbeing of all of us. From the change in routine to worrying about our friends and family, to loneliness from not being able to see people. So take some time today to reflect on your own well being. You could do one of the following

  • Keep Learning – your home learning should take care of that.
  • Get connecting  – call or message someone you’ve been missing.
  • Be mindful – try some yoga or a guided breathing exercise.
  • Be active – get moving!
  • Be giving – this doesn’t have to cost money, being giving can include giving your time to help your mum or dad with something around the house or a younger sibling with their home learning.

Here is a reminder of your tasks for today:

  • Daily exercise: Joe Wicks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ
  • Reading: At least 20 mins – please record in your reading record
  • Maths: Spring Term Workout 7
  • English: Grammar – Capital Letters and Full Stops
  • Spelling Practise: Year 3/4 words – find the definitions for your ten words in a dictionary.
  • Something fun:
    • Baking! Choose your favourite recipe and get baking! Will you choose cookies, fairy cakes or something more ambitious?

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let everyone know what you’ve been up to! If you’ve missed any of the home learning, it’s still available on the blog so make sure to go back and catch up.

If you have any questions about the work or want to send me photos or examples of the work you’ve been doing, please ask your parents to email me at class10@harwoodpark.rochdale.sch.uk or you can leave a comment here on the blog.

Miss Reed 😀
