This unit in Art, we have been studying Georgia O’Keeffe. This week, we have been practicing our observational drawing skills using real flowers. We focused on the shapes and lines that we could see in order to help us.
We have been learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy this term. In our art lesson today we have been sketching some examples of Andy Goldsworthy’s artwork. In provision we have been using the natural materials to create our own Andy-inspired art.
Class 9 performed for the Christmas Carol concert as Hip Hop Elves. They showed fantastic dancing, singing and performing skills, well done everyone!
We had lots of fun playing for Christmas inspired games in PE today. Working as a team played a big part in being successful. Christmas lights was a hit and the classic snowball dodgeball was great fun!
Nursery have ben practising very hard for our nativity and are all ready in their sparkly snowflake costumes!
