Basketball Lesson

This week, we have enjoyed learning new skills during our P.E lesson. We are learning our basketball dribbling and defending skills ready to put these to the test in a game next week. There was some amazing skills and movement around the court.

RHS Bridgewater

Year 3 had a wonderful time exploring the gardens at RHS Bridgewater in Salford. Marvellous Mountains

In geography we have been learning about mountains, how they are formed and the different shapes. We studied a mountain in Wales and recreated it’s jagged features. Can you guess the mountain? It’s not Snowdon.

Wonderful Wallets!

Year Three improved their fabulous sewing skills this Summer term in Design and Technology. They made their own purses and wallets out of felt. They learnt about different stitches and fastenings and decorated their products to fit their design criteria.

Equivalent Fractions

Year 3 have been working hard with equivalent fractions in maths. Today we worked practically to find equivalent fractions for 1 whole. It really helped to make the fractions physically.  

Carnival in French

Class 8 have been learning about the carnival festival in France and made their own colourful masks like the ones in Nice. We had lots of fun learning the words for the tasty French carnival treats.

Science Week – Plants
