This week in Reception we have been learning about Remembrance Day. The children have been busy making poppies using lots of different media and on Monday we will observe 2 minutes silence.
In Reception we have been looking at the seasons and what happens in Autumn. We have talked about animals hibernating so some of the children brought boxes in to make hedgehog homes and in the Creative Area we have been making clay hedgehogs. I

Last week, Class 1 were extremely happy to win the 100% attendance award! This meant that we had a special visitor living in our classroom this week; Rose the Attendance Hamster! We learnt all about how to look after and feed her. We hope to win again soon.
Today the children have been outside to find digit cards and the corresponding numicon piece.
