Today Class 11 begun the first stage of an art project based around animals of the Amazon rainforest. The children in Class 4 have continued to explore their local environment this week, by taking photographs of interesting things they have seen around school. When they returned to class, they used the Pic Collage app to arrange and present their photographs. Here you can see some of their creations.
Year 4 have today used Google Earth to explore famous American landmarks such as the Empire State Building, Mount Rushmore, Times Square, Golden Gate Bridge and the Grand Canyon. This is a part of our current Linked Learning topic which will see us travel Route 66 in the coming weeks.
This week, Class 4 have been using online maps to explore the local area. Great fun was had locating their houses and using ‘street view’ to make their way to school.
