During Maths day, year 1 learnt about symmetry. The children made their own symmetrical bugs using their fingers and paint.

Today the children worked in pairs to dress people in suitable clothes according to the seasons as part of our geography topic and learning how the seasons affect the weather.

Functional Skills
During our PE lesson today we have been practising functional skills. The children have practised moving around the hall safely, finding a space and using pegs to pick up beanbags whilst working in a team.

Picasso
The children have been learning about the artist Picasso. They have worked hard to sketch facial features and they have created some fabulous collages and paintings based on his artwork.
