On Tuesday, all of Year 6 visited St Anne’s Academy for a day of enrichment activities. In the morning, the children participated in a World Cup Football Tournament in the sports hall. The children were split into 10 teams representing different countries, along with another primary school. 5-a-side games were played and after two rounds, Brazil won the World Cup and Holland won the American COPA cup. It was great to see all children fully engaging with the sporting event. Well done, year 6!
In the afternoon the children watched the drama students from St Anne’s Academy perform the musical Annie! Thank you to St Anne’s Academy for arranging the coach the take the children to and from the venue and for organising a fantastic day, including wonderful refreshments. It certainly was a day to remember!
