Good Morning everyone! 😊

Here are the activities we would like you to complete today.

As part of your daily exercise this morning try out some just dance videos on Youtube.

Reading – Read a few pages of one reading book and use the comprehension questions linked on the class page to check children’s understanding.  Please make sure you record any reads in the reading record as usual.

Fluency – Complete set A or B of one of the Mad Maths Minutes sheets.

Maths – By today you should be onto oue next unit which is Problem solving! Complete ‘My way, your way’ lesson. (Don’t worry if you haven’t caught up to that yet – spend today finishing off what you need to!)

English – Today you should be continuing  Reading Paper 1 Bibbo the Space Pilot. Answer questions on p4-6

Spellings – practice your spellings by doing a rainbow write, writing each word in a different colour.

RHE – Environments Using the People and their Environments Sheet write a sentence to explain what it is like to live there.

Other ways to keep busy today:

      • Year 2 children now have their own account on Timestable Rockstars. Why not earn some gold coins and play with your class mates in some friendly competitions. You should have received an information sheet in your pack.  Your username will be the first 3 letters of your first name and the first 3 letters of your surname. Your password will be your date of birth. For example, if your name is William Smith and your date of birth is 13th April 2013, your username and password would be – wilsmi and 130413.
      • Write a book or film review of something you have read/watched recently. What was the book/film about? Who was your favourite character? Who do you think would enjoy this book/film? Add a picture too!

Keep updated daily for home learning reminders, helpful tips and more fun activities to keep you busy and motivated!

    See you all very soon!

    Miss Powers and Miss Sharp.
