Good morning Year 1!

We hope you enjoyed your home learning activities yesterday. Here is a reminder of your home learning tasks for today:

Maths 

Complete pages 24-25 of your maths worksheets for an end of unit check.

Have a look at the picture below for more maths questions to check your understanding.

English Task 7-

Draw a picture of your favourite animal and label it. Can you write sentences about your animal using adjectives? Remember to use your Super 6! (Capital letters, finger spaces, writing on the line, sounding out, neat handwriting and full stops.)

Afternoon:

Maths Fluency: Have a go at the some arithmetic games on Topmarks.

Spelling – months of the year.

Art task 1:

Draw the other half. We have provided you with two pictures on a sheet in your home learning pack. Your task is to draw the other half of the image to complete the rest of the picture. We will put images on the blog to help you. Remember to take your time, draw carefully and include as much detail as you can.

Extra activities:

    • Make a birthday card for Captain Tom Moore’s 100th birthday on the 30th April! He has raised more than £27m for the NHS by completing 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday. 🎂🥳

    • Today is National Superhero Day which celebrates superheroes, both real and fictional. Who is your favourite super hero? Can you draw your favourite super hero? This could be a famous fictional superhero, an NHS superhero, a key worker superhero or even a picture of Captain Tom as a superhero! If you can, why not dress up as a Superhero for the day!🦹‍♂️ 🦸‍♀️
