Good morning Year 1!

We hope you have enjoyed the home learning tasks we have set so far this week! Here is a reminder of your home learning tasks for today:

Complete pages 29-31 of your maths worksheets ‘Making equal groups (2)’.

English Task 9-

Create a fact file about your favourite animal. Research an animal of your choice and explore the vocabulary required to describe them. Remember to use your Super 6! (Capital letters, finger spaces, sounding out, writing on the line, neat writing and full stops). You could even think of a creative way to present your fact file!

Afternoon:

Maths Fluency: Year 1 Spring 1 Maths Activity Mat 2 from your home learning pack.

Spelling Test- High Frequency Words. Parents/carers choose 5/6 HFW from sheet.

Art task 2:

Design and create a mask of your favourite animal using different materials around the house. Think about the colours and shape. Can you add different textures to their mask? Ideas will be added to the blog. Use the mask design template in your home learning pack to design your mask first.

Just letting you know how deacon is getting on. He has been working very hard at home with the school timetable. He is enjoying the art this week about animals. I will post what he has made for his mask! We have been working out with Joe wickes too. Safe to say I’m not as fit as deacon haha
