In Linked Learning class 12 were asked to discuss the following question: Did woman have an important role in the War? After looking into some research and evidence from what life was like for women pre and post WW2, it was clear the answer was yes. When the men went off to war the women, who would normally stay at home and not work, took over the role which were missing. The women enjoyed this and found it difficult to go back to just being house wives. This was a major changing point for how the role of women developed over the next few decades.
