Last week, classes 9 and 10 went on a tip to support their learning about the history of transport and how development in transport affected the local area.

We took a steam train from Heywood to Rawtenstall and then back to Bury where we ate lunch and explored Bury Transport Museum. We then travelled back from Bury to Heywood on a train pulled by a diesel locomotive.

The children had a wonderful time exploring and learning, and behaved really well.
