In geography, we have been learning all about the water cycle as party of our human and physical unit of work. Last week we learnt how the water cycle works and became more confident using words such as evaporation, precipitation, condensation and accumulation. Today we created a model version of a water cycle in a jam jar. By using warm water (like water heated by the sun) and ice on top of the jar we were able to create the process of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. It helped us see how the process of the water cycle works.
