Today, as part of our RE learning journey linked to places of Worship, we visited a local church in Heywood. We were warmly welcomed by Reverend Kirsty and had a fantastic opportunity to put our classroom learning into context. We were able to see up close all the features and symbols which most churches have, as well as learning about important aspects of St. luke’s. The church is beautiful inside especially the stain glass windows. We all enjoyed our visit and thank the church for allowing us to come.
