Today day in Art, class 12 begun developing their sketching and shading skills ready for creating some life like portraits. For this lesson, the focus was on being observant, taking care with how we use our pencil and creating different shades and textures. Miss Bishop challenged our growth mindset by making us draw our hand …. Blindfolded. This taught us that once we came to draw it again being able to look properly it was actually easier than we thought. We focused later on drawing eyes, nose and mouth for practise before putting together our portraits tomorrow.
