Reception Home Learning – Tuesday 9th June

Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed reading Room on the Broom yesterday. Here is a reminder of the tasks for today:

English – LI: To write a list.

The witch needs a new broom! Can you create a potion to help her? Write a list of ingredients to put into your potion and draw them in the cauldron. 

Maths – LI: To order cauldrons by size.

Can you cut out the cauldrons and order them from smallest to biggest?

Phonics – To recap the digraph ‘th’ and practise handwriting.

Can you think of a word including the sound th? Now write it in a  sentence. 

UTW – LI: To learn the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Remember the Hungry Caterpillar? That was the story of the lifecycle of a butterfly. Now can you cut and stick the lifecycle onto the sheet in your packs. There is a short video to watch too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1S8WzwLPlM
